It has been more than two decades since China's colleges and universities committed themselves to Business English teaching and research. The achievements made in these areas snowball into a spectacular: more than 500 colleges, universities and educational institutions are currently involved in the teaching and researching of English in the international business context, and some of the universities have opened Business English undergraduate programs or the related courses. Along with rapid development, however, there are still a number of problems that baffle educators and scholars when they move ahead. Therefore, as the host of the conference, we warmly welcome you to participate in the discussion about Business English and its construction, innovation and development. Participants who submit and present their papers in Chinese should distribute an English abstract of the paper at the conference.
