法律语言学国际学术研讨会会讯

会议介绍：会议完整名称为“法律语言学国际学术研讨会暨中国法律语言学研究会年会”，该会议由中国法律语言学研究会主办、广东外语外贸大学外国语言学及应用语言学研究中心承办，将于2008年11月在广东外语外贸大学召开。本次研讨会旨在推进我国法律语言学的研究和我国法制建设的发展。使我国法律语言学研究进入一个崭新的阶段，顺利地与国际法律语言研究接轨。现将研讨会有关事项通知如下：

主要内容包括：（1）法律语言学理论研究；（2）法律语篇分析；（3）法律翻译和法庭口译研究；（4）法律语言研究的应用；（5）法律语言教学研究；（6）法律语料库建设；（7）法律语音学研究

会议主题发言人：

• Professor Malcolm Coulthard, 英国阿斯顿大学教授（The Founding President of the International Association of Forensic Linguists, and the founding editor of Forensic Linguistics: the International Journal of Language and the Law. He has been commissioned to write reports as an expert witness in over 150 cases and has given evidence in three terrorist trials in Northern Ireland and in a case of academic plagiarism in Hong Kong. He has appeared as an expert twice in the Court of Appeal, including the successful Derek Bentley Appeal when, in 1998, the verdict of guilty was overturned after 46 years. He is now a professor in the Aston University, U.K.）
• Professor Roger Shuy, 美国加州大学教授（Distinguished Research Professor of Linguistics, Emeritus, of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Prof. Shuy is one of the premier experts in the field of forensic linguistics. He has authored thirty books on linguistics, including six on forensic linguistics. Prof. Shuy has also authored hundreds of articles on linguistics, and has testified numerous times as an expert witness in state and federal courts, as well as before Congress.）
